Find my iPhone location service change with system update. Prior to update I could view the location for my family members (children) even if they didn’t have the app open. That no longer works with the update. Is there a work around or fix for that?

Find My iPhone must be turned on on the device from which you want to share your location. As far as I know, it has always been this way.

In any event, there is no workaround. It must be turned on if you want to see their location.
