Ipad Air 2 wont restore via itunes. Says software is unavailable.
I did the procedure to restore the ipad, until Itunes icon and connector cable image showed up on ipad. But itunes wont let me update or restore it. I am logged into itunes. It sees the iPad.
I dont remember the passcode..

Are you using iTunes on a Windows PC or a Macintosh? If you are using a Mac, is it running macOS 10.15?

It says "software for this iPad is not currently available. Make sure you have the latest version iTunes and try again. I did this several times. It wont work. It wont update or restore.
