My iPhone was stolen and I can’t locate it on the find my iPhone app. I got a link from Apple which only worked for a day. Is there a way I can still track it or get a notification when it’s online again

My iPhone was stolen and I’m unable to track it on the find my iPhone app. When I try tracking it it shows me my old phone since I have the same Apple ID for both phones. I got a link from Apple when it went online last week but the link isn’t working now. What can I do?

If you don't see the phone on Find My Phone, you must not have turned on Find My Phone. You can try using iCloud.com/Find My Phone using a computer browser, but if it doesn't show there, there isn't a way to track it.
