Actually, I was informed by a newfound Mac Geek that using imap.juno.com would give me better clarity, or something. In the end, I don't know that it mattered, because I did find the problem. Turns out I couldn't figure why the "status" kept saying "offline". When I finally figured to "right click" on my address (in mailboxes) and saw the options, including, of course, "take Juno online", the problem was solved. I may sound dumb, but at least I finally emerged victorious. Thank you for your input!!! Slip

If you used "imap.juno" that is incorrect.

There are two possibilities.
Another possibility. You are not using the correct password.
I put in my Juno address and password. I used imap.juno, put in the port #. Used smtp.juno.com with its port #. Clicked "save". Clicked "enable". What else is there?
I'm using the password I use to sign in when I use my other laptop, which has no trouble connecting to Juno. It is not a MacBook.
