How to transfer between an iMac and new iPad Pro?

Can you now successfully connect (via usb / iCloud / or .....) an iPad Pro (with iPadOS 13.1.3 recently uploaded & installed software) to my iMac to enable my iTunes library of music to be transferred across to the iPad please?
