iPhone 7 was suppose to be safe for 13 updates

What can I do to fix what the update did? I can’t receive mail....”this message has no content” or “has not been downloaded by server”

I can access through search & login.

But not by pulling up the icon that I’ve always used.

please help... somehow... don’t email me ‘cause I can not receive.
