I currently have Comcast is Apple tv its own service like Netflix or will I be able to add Apple TV channels to my current Comcast/Xfinity Provider?

If you are referring to the Apple TV+ streaming service (note the ‘plus’), then there are some similarities to Netflix (Originals) and Amazon Prime (Originals). You will need a device with the Apple TV app to view Apple TV+ content, or view it in a browser. You will need to subscribe with Apple directly. You can’t add it to Comcast/Xfinity as an add-on to your package.
