Verify identity not working

I’ve been asked to verify my identity in Apple Cash presumably because it’s about to go over $500. However every time it prompts me to do so to accept an incoming payment, it’s not sticking. Meaning it appears that my identity after verification is not getting updated into the account. It’s causing my pending payment from not depositing into my balance. Anyone have any suggestions?
