I'm trying to determine how many songs were uploaded to the iCloud from iTunes. I'm looking on my new MacBook Air and cannot determine how many are in the Apple Music app on my laptop. How do I see that?

Use View > Show Status Bar to see a count for the current view. If needs be create a smart playlist that identifies the tracks you want to count.
