My calendar has a “verify account information” that I cannot seem to get rid of. All of my iCloud info is up to date but one of my calendars is not syncing still and the “verify...” bar will. OT go away....what can I do ?

If I understand correctly, you are unable to get rid of a message in the Calendar app on your iPhone that says “verify account information.” Since you use iCloud, please follow the relevant calendar related steps in this Apple resource and then contact Apple if you need any further assistance.
