iPhone 11 not Auto Pairing with Headphones

I recently purchased a new IPhone 11 Pro Max, 256gb. When pairing to my Bowers and Wilkins P7 wireless headphones they no longer auto connect when the headphones are switched on. They have been paired correctly and show up on the list of paired devices, however I need to manually activate them through settings before they will work. Very frustrating as they worked fine and auto connected to my IPhone 7 Plus no bother. Any solutions?

I have also experienced this problem with exactly the same devices as yours. This is because your P7 remember your previous iPhone as primary device, and the new iPhone as secondary device which it won’t auto pair. To solve this, you need to reset P7 by holding volume down(-) and Bluetooth button at the same time. Also forget P7 device on your new iPhone. Then reconnect it. Work fine with me :)
