2010 MacBook Pro uses a standard 2.5-in form factor SATA drive in a metal can.

Be sure to buy at least 500-ish GB to get one speedy enough and large enough not to be a problem.

SSD in iMac I have a 2009 iMac (the late 2009 model) and am thinking of replacing its original hard drive with an SSD. Is that something that the folks at the Apple Store can do? I would provide the SSD drive.
