Should I let the battery drain totally before the first recharge on my iPhone 11?
Was told to let the battery to fully discharge before it’s first charge . Is this needed ?

No, and never let the battery drain completely. You can charge it any time you want to and for as long as you want to. I charge my phone over night so I have a fully charged phone in the morning. You cannot over charge it.
