Getting verification failed error trying to sign in to Apple TV app with mobile device on fire tv stick 4K. Tried signing in manually on the fire stick but just hangs
We have a winner, thank you! It took a couple tries of “install update” on the FireTV, but once it was done it worked perfectly!
Have you tried doing a factory reset of the stick? That’s the only thing that worked for me.

Ended up resetting the firestick...after that it worked fine
Tied uninstalling app/restarting firestick and issue remained
I am facing the exact same issue - unable to sign in on the fire stick
