logitec mx mouse not recognized at boot up

Logitech MX mouse inoperative after Catalina, uninstalled and re-installed latest Logitech software. Now works, except ...

Following each power off start, I have to unplug the Logitech USB radio part, turn off the MX mouse, plug in the radio part, then turn the MX mouse back on, at which point all is okay ...

until next time I power down the iMac.

Any fixes for this? Thanks in advance for any ideas!

iMac 27", macOS 10.15

Please check with the developers to see if they have updated drivers, the problem with using third party hardware is you are dependent on them keeping up-to-date. However if you need that type of mouse, that is really your only solution.
