Lock sound
Th lock sound of my iPhone X became too loud all of a sudden. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. I understand that the lock sound on your iPhone has become louder unexpectedly. I can see why you'd reach out about this; I'd like to help. It's possible that this is occurring due to one of two things happening in Settings > Sounds & Haptics; take a look below.
- In Settings > Sounds & Haptics, is "Change with Buttons" enabled? If so the lock sound, ringer, and other alerts will mirror the volume you've set, and potentially adjusted, for your iPhone using the volume buttons on the side.
- In Settings > Sounds & Haptics, if "Change with Buttons" isn't enabled, test the Ringer and Alerts volume slider to determine the volume you'd like to hear. This affects the lock sound and other alerts on your device.
If you'd like to disable the Lock Sound entirely so it's not affected by the volume you choose for other alerts, tap Settings > Sounds & Haptics > disable Lock Sound.
