My iPhone 6 does not have an update available and it’s only at iOS 12.4.2 but all my friends phones are at iOS 13.1.4

My iPhone 6 does not have an update available and it’s only at iOS 12.4.2. Any suggestions or reasons why?

The iPhone 6 cannot be upgraded beyond iOS 12.4.2; the oldest phone than can be upgraded to iOS 13 is the 6S.
