Access Movies added to iTunes on MacOS?

I have digitized many movies on my iMac and added them to my iTunes Movies under MacOS Mojave 10.14.6. I can see them on my iMac and my Apple TV (4th gen) via the Computer app but I cannot see them on my LAN and iPad via the iTunes Store app. Should I be able to? If not, how do I watch a movie on my ipad on my home LAN that is stored on my iMac?

Hello kentmcpherson,

Thanks for posting to the Apple Support Communities. I understand you want to watch movies on your iPad from your iMac. I'll be happy to explain the steps.

With iTunes, you can use Home Sharing to share wirelessly: Use Home Sharing to share media from a computer to other devices

You can also sync the movies to the iPad: Use iTunes to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer

Best regards.
