Anyone Find A Good iPhoto Replacement?

Wondering if anyone has found a good iPhoto replacement? I upgraded to Catalina like a lot of people and it's my fault for not reading the fine print on iPhoto. That program was awesome as a simple drag and drop photo editor that would output to .jpg for websites. Photos does jpeg which for anyone like me who does web stuff that's just a non starter. I'm having to edit large numbers of files from jpeg to jpg so it has me looking for something as simple as iPhoto. Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Not a question of "like". jpg is pretty much the standard web format. Hotlinking, htaccess, cdn etc depending on how your site is setup you need jpg and not jpeg. jpeg is fine for family photos, instagram, facebook, sharing photos etc but for the majority of websites it's jpg.

iPhoto was just a simple program that made resizing photos really simple.. for free.

Just mean standard as in.. go to any website.. pick an image and right click and 99 times out of 100 you see two things.. cdn and jpg.. Does not mean that's best practice, the only way to do it or whatever.. it's just what everyone tends to do online ( commercial websites.. not blogs)

Code.. just the usual stuff... wordpress, AWS, Cloudfront.. so as an example if your hotlink protection is set for jpg.. without updating code.. anything png, jpeg etc won't be hotlink protected.. number of other instances where the same sort of thing applies..
