Combining data in Numbers

Can someone tell me how to build the formula in Numbers that does the following:

Counts the values in a column that are in a range of numbers
Doesn't count the value at all if a checkbox in another column for that row is on

I can do the first part with two COUNTIF formulas that subtract from each other, but I don't know how to add in the second part.

Hi museofjazz,

This solution is essentially Ian's but using COUNTIFS as I was thinking you wanted a count.

B22=COUNTIFS(A2:A21,">50",A2:A21,"<150",B2:B21,"=false")

Hi museofjazz,

The SUMIFS function is your friend.

Formula in the Footer cell B10 =SUMIFS(B,B,">2",B,"<7",C,"FALSE")

That will sum values greater than 2, less than 7 and the relevant Tickbox is false.
