Screen time grey bar cheat for Youtube. Big problem for parents.

Floating app is not under screen time limits.

To float app, stop app while changing app then move it center.

My kids use this trick and watch Youtube all day. Screen time limit does not work.

Float youtube dose not stop movie and sound.

My son watched Youtube all day yesterday.

Screen time block games but Youtube.

Screen-Time not obeying limits Trying to limit how much time my son spends on “among us”. It shows the limit has been reached via the hourglass icon, however, the time keeps ticking on. i.e., it continues to allow him to use the app. I have toggled on “block at end of limit”. I took it all the way down to a 1 minute limit but it just allows him to continue playing. This is not the only apps that behaves this way. It’s deeply frustrating and its been this way for as long as I can remember. What am I doing wrong?

one more minute I wish Apple would fix the one more minute option. So frustrating when your child just uses every single app for an additional minute. When will this get fixed? At this point screen time limits are basically useless unless this is removed.

Turn off "Ignore Limit" option I found a discussion about this but it was a few years old. I would like to have my kids ipads restricted with parental controls and have done that, but you can just click "Ignore Limit" and do whatever you want. I do have a screen time passcode set up. So I guess there still is a bug that allows kids to just click ignore limit and go to whatever website they'd like? I did try setting things up to restrict websites but this made the websites unusable (for example, there's a piano lesson website I'd like my kids to use, but then the tracks it wouldn't play, and the youtube video wouldn't play, so I just have to turn off all restrictions in order to make the website usable). Thanks.
