I see that you're receiving videos as thumbnail images. I understand wanting to be able to view these videos in full size, and I'd be happy to help.
First, try and restart your iPhone and test to see if the issue remains. If so, next step would be to make sure that you're using the most recent version (13.2) of software on your iPhone.
Restart your iPhone
Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you go through these steps and the issue remains, respond back with the answers to the following questions.
- Does this happen with videos sent from all contacts?
- Does this happen with videos shared in third-party apps?
- Is the person that is sending you the videos an iPhone user as well?
