Retrieving Deleted Notes

I accidentally deleted a folder within notes on my iPhone 6S Plus. How can I retrieve the folder (and notes)?

Have you checked Recently Deleted Folder?

Does it appear in Recently Deleted? If not, then you would have to restore your iPhone to a backup that was made before they were deleted. Don't forget, restoring your iPhone to a backup will delete everything from the iPhone and restore it to the date/time of the backup.
