I am trying to Update iPhone 5c to iOS 10.3.4. It says "iOS 10.03.3 Your software is up to date" within a few seconds. Apple says I have to update - so how can I, and why is it not working/offering the update automatically?

Apple says the iPhone 5 (released in 2012) needs the update 10.3.4. 5c does not, it's a revision of the 5 released in 2013 and there is no 10.3.4 available for that phone because the GPS bug doesn't exist on the 5c.
5c and 5s (both from 2013) share the same battery, GPS reciever and LTE bands, 5 is slighty older and that phone needs the fix.

Hi, I've missed the 3rd November deadline. I've read that I can still update my iPhone 5 to 10.3.4 using iTunes. Can anyone help me from there? I'm currently online via pc and I've connected my iPhone 5 with the iTunes in this pc. Now how can I update it? I don't really get it, says I have to download the IPSW files and what not. I have downloaded it, but how can I continue the update? I pressed the "Checked for Update" on my iTunes but it says mine was up-to-date.
From the other posts I now understand I can't update my 5c to 10.3.4, it's stuck at 10.3.3. Unfortunately I'm trying to restore from a backup that was made from a 5s with 10.3.4 and I can't 'cause the iOS is not compatible. Do I have any options?

Just that it doesn't need the update.
Apple says the 5c does need updating, or I'll lose GPS and apps that need correct time and place.

The 5C is not affected by the November 3rd GPS bug, thus no update is required or available. The highest possible for that model is iOS 10.3.3.
Did you read any of the posts above?
The 5s is not affected, and you cannot update the 5s past 12.4.3.
The 5c isn't affected, you cannot update it past 10.3.3, since there is no 10.3.4 for your phone. It will continue to work.
