I can't upload pictures from iPhoto to websites, it shows I have no pictures.

I got a new Macbook Air and now when I go to upload photos to Etsy or my Google Drive, it does not let me select them even though I have photos in my gallery. This is what it looks like. What do I need to do to fix this?

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14
