I've had air pods for about a year, all of a sudden today people can't hear me on phone calls and neither can Siri. But, voicenotes records loud and clear. Airpods site has no answers
I tried forgetting and re-pairing, nope. Didn't work. I tried cleaning as the site suggests, nope didn't work.
Any ideas why these would stop working ONLY for phone calls and siri?

Just figured this out! Go to Settings ---> Bluetooth --> click on the little "i" next to your airpods (they have to be connected for this to open the right screen) --> turn 'double tap on Airpod' for siri "off" so both left and right are in the "off" position. This immediately fixed my issue and that feature is annoying AF anyways.
