Upon checking here, the fix will go out in the future app release. Please update the Yahoo Mail app regularly. Unfortunately, we don't have any release date for the upcoming app update.
For now, I do recommend that you submit feedback about this on our official feedback page here: https://yahoo.uservoice. com/ so that our product engineers are aware of any features that can benefit our members when using Yahoo Mail.
While Yahoo may not respond directly to your feedback, rest assured that all comments, suggestions, and entries are individually reviewed by the proper support teams.
