Formula in Numbers shows the syntax error.
When I use the hours to mulitply it with a specific number, after converting it to decimal using DUR2HOURS, shows the syntax error.

Thank you for the quick reply, but I figured it out. The problem was the currency was in Euros and in it, the decimals are commas and I was putting the decimal point instead of it. For example, I was entering 12.45 instead of 12,45.

A syntax error could be as simple as a misplaced comma. It could be a number of things.
A screenshot showing the formula along with a copy of the formula would give us something to work with.
