Over the past several days after upgrading to Catalina, I have been getting a popup malware called happy.luckyparkclub. It using a Verizon malad. I attempted to empy cache, uninstall any non used applications, but it persists in Safari. Currently using Firefox which does not seem to be infected. Any ideas for a non-IT mac user???
You may have adware/malware installed. Try downloading this program which was written by Thomas R, a long time poster. The program will search for malware/adware. The program will do the work for you which makes it easy. It may be necessary to run more than one scan. After running the scans, restart the computer.

Me too! I get it even when I am using a private browser with Safari ... and it started after I updated Safari (Version 13.0.3 (13608.3.10.10.1)) and my OS mascOS High Sierra Version 10.13.6
Need a fix ... apple shows nothing when I do a search.
Apple tech support ... send out a fix!
Try using Malwarebytes as I posted above.
I also get this (says it's an Xfinity survey) and other redirects telling me I have viruses. Seems to happen more on news sites than any other sites. Malwarebytes says I'm clean.
Try closing ( or quitting) the window and hold down the shift key and reopen the window (or safari) and that should stop the malware from popping up.

If forces safari to open a clean new window. So if you are having pop up windows issue. It stops them for highjacking safari.
