I recently changed my apple password

For a variety of reasons but now I cannot change my password on my Outlook on my Surface Pro... any suggestions as I no longer get email sent to my iCloud address

Password changed by Apple? suddenly, (~3/30/2022), my access to iCloud email has been blocked through Outlook 365. Password has not been changed by me. Password is the same on all other access to email on iCloud, specifically via www.icloud.com. Apple account on communities is still true with password. I read instructions, then removed that account from Outlook 365 and closed the program, restarted PC. My Apple account is accessible with previous password. Did Apple change my password?

Change Apple ID email I use a outlook Mail for my Apple ID. But when I try to change my my Apple ID ( I type in my new email address) then I get a pop up. asking for my password for my outlook Mail. For security trouble is I forgot my password for outlook and having trouble with Microsoft retrieving it.

You need to enable 2 Factor Authentication on your Apple ID and create an app specific password to use. If your account won’t allow 2 Factor Authentication, try 2 step verification.
