iPhone contacts not syncing with car Bluetooth connection, so car hands free not able to dial by contact name.

I can no longer use my cars hands free dialing capability with the iOS 13 update. I tested the hands free function, speaker, used Siri to dial from contact and that all works. It is not my car. I also in paired my phone from my car 6 times. Each time I deleted the phone from my car and the car from my phone. I even did this and turned my car off the on and repaired. And yes I made sure both on the car Bluetooth settings and my phone that “sync contacts” was checked.

it was not fixed with any of the recent patches.

I don’t think it matters but I have an iPhone XS and a 2017 Honda Pilot. (There are no recent firmware updates for my Honda). My CarPlay seemed to be working fine. I can also use Siri (although she get confused). The point it Hands free Bluetooth is a function offered through my car and Apple and it should work. I should not have to pick my phone up in the car it’s distracting.

so frustrating! Anyone else?
