I recently updated my iMac to Catalina OS 10.15.1 Since then my iCloud stop syncing. I have a MacBook Pro using Mojave, I have an iPad Pro and an iPhone 11 Pro Plus and all sync with iCloud except the iMac running Catalina. Next time I will wait 3-6 months to update OS like I usually do. Big mistake on my part, one I won't make with my MacBook Pro.

Thank you. I did go to system preferences and clicked on Apple ID- iCloud drive there was an options button. I clicked on that and saw Desktop & Documents Folders was unchecked for some reason. Must be default option for Catalina OS. Thank you for your help.

Try going to System Preferences/Apple ID and stop syncing by unchecking the box(es). Wait a couple of minutes, then check syncing. Allow time for the sync to complete.
Last resort - have you tried signing out of iCloud and then sign back in?
