Any tricks or suggestions for a better fit?
I feel a bit cheated. The original AirPods fitted fine. There is a good seal if I shove them in my ear and hold them there. If I don't they pop out. No tip fits well and it's hard to tell which, if any, is better.
Apple does recommend that you perform the fit test, but they also recommend using the tips that provide the best comfort... that being said, you might sacrifice the proper Seal for optimal noise canceling …… what I have done is ran the fit test, even if the fit is not showing to be a proper seal , then I go to the Bluetooth settings and bring up the Airpod pros, then test each of the noise cancellation settings, if all the settings are functioning properly and creating the desired result, I don't worry so much that the fit test failed … as long as the sound produced is to my liking,....
I would try each for a day in a couple of different settings and see if the comfort or performance changes.

Absolutely agree. It seems as though everyone is playing down that these don't fit. All the comments and replies on this topic are about getting a good fit / seal for quality sound. Quality of sound doesn't matter as much as these things fall out of your ears, regardless of tip choice as soon as you move your head.
The old ones fit fine and no amount of running or shaking of the head got them loose. When you need to adjust these and you push them in deeper, you end the call or stop the playback. Can't count the number of times I bend over and they fall on the ground or in the car. Its only a matter of time until they are lost.
Please can someone at Apple come up with a tip to fit the previous users of the AirPods?
my left ear passes the test with the large tip, but the medium feels more comfortable.
