In-app purchase is stuck on "Please Wait..." after retrying to purchase.

After initially requesting to make an in-app purchase through family sharing which was originally denied, when trying to purchase the same in-app purchase again, immediately after pressing the necessary button to try to make this purchase, the prompt to approve the purchase through Touch ID is not given. Instead, the screen hangs on this "Please Wait..." popup. I have tried restarting the IPhone 7, logging in and out of the Apple store, and reinstalling/restarting the app to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.


Try a forced restart.


Reset Device


If necessary


Hard reset


Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.


Restore to Factory setting


Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup
