Timer Issue on Apple Watch iv os 6.1
When using time custom timer it locks when ending time. The only way to use timer after it locks is to reboot timer. Has anyone else run across this problem?

It's happening for me too, where it stops and won't let me reset it. Closing the app doesn't fix it. The SIRI voice command will reset it, or rebooting the watch does. This started with the latest version 6.1 that I just installed a few days ago.
For me, it only seems to happen just after I've unlocked the watch and only if I accidentally hit Repeat, which I am sure they have switched around in this release. I have reproduced the bug on demand in this way.
Apple Support on Twitter have picked it up from my Tweet about it.
Same problem here. Very annoying. I find only solution is to reboot watch. I use timer several times per day. Believe problem was introduced with Watch OS 5.1 Never had a problem with prior releases.
I have found that using Seri to invoke timer works fine "Hay Seri, set timer for 35 seconds". However, once timer is stopped it locks up. Very annoying, especially in gym where I time stretches but don't want to bother others using Seri.
More details - I have 42 mm Apple watch series 3 with GPs, paired to iPhone 11 Pro. Both are at current levels of software WatchOS 5.1 and iOS 13.2.3
I found a resolution that worked for me in fixing this issue 100%.
Make sure you've updated to all current SW version on Watch and iPhone.
Once updated, fully reboot iPhone. THEN fully reboot your watch.
Doing these steps worked in solving my problem. Hopefully you'll have similar results.
My issue is now 100% resolved and all functionality is working properly.
running iOS 13.2.3, watchOS 6.1, 42mm Series 4 watch, GPS + Cellular)
I’ve got the same problem but for this to go I have to reboot the watch itself, dunno how to reboot only the timer app, could you tell me please?
Press side button and it will show all running apps. Slide the app left and the big red X is displayed, and now press it.
same problem. closing the app didn't fix the problem. the only way i can set a new timer is by telling Siri what time to set.
Press side button and it will show all running apps. Slide the app left and the big red X is displayed, and now press it.
That didn’t work for me. The timer is still stuck.
This started for me yesterday when I did the latest update to my Apple Watch 3. I have to reboot the watch every time I use the timer now. 😡😡😡
