No bootcamp in taskbar on windows 10

Hi, i have a macbook pro mid 2012. I installed windows 10 and downloaded the WSS version 5.0.5033 for the drivers to work. When i run the installation, it looked though as it all drivers have installed, but then it says “bootcamp encountered error” so apparently, i have no bootcamp manager in my taskbar, no sound on my windows, no backlight and fn keys (osd) and my mouse has no right click and all it’s other cool functions.. but other things work, (wifi, Bluetooth, graphics, nvidia, and the rest.)

what can i do? 😭😭

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.14

Windows 5.x version does not support W10. The correct version can be downloaded using BC Assistant -> Action -> Download. It should 6.0.6136.

what can i do? 😭😭

Download and install Windows support software on your Mac - Apple Support.

So i was playing around with different version of MW10 build.

So i got a build(10240) of windows 10. I Did clean install through usb flash, after installation completed and booted to desktop. I run the window support software version 5.0.5033, voala... everything work smooth. Except for wifi, but then i went to the installation software folder and located the “Broadcom” > BroadcomNetworkAdapter64.

and everything is good.

thank to LonaT for his reply. Appreciated.

Install Windows 7 on your Mac using Boot Camp - Apple Support has BC 5.x drivers for W7/W8.1.
