Can I trade in an unopened pair of AirPods?

I received an unopened box of AirPods 2nd gen. However, I really want the AirPods pro, so I was wondering if there was a way to trade the 2s in and get credit towards the pros? I know there isn’t a specific trade in service for AirPods, but is there another way?

unfortunately Apple are no longer looking after there customers as well as they did. There’s no trade and if you’re AirPods are over 14days old you can’t return them.

Apple have shafted all AirPods owners who want to upgrade.
