Apple TV plus free 1 year trial?

You have to be the first user (by Apple ID) of that device.

You have to have bought it from Apple or an Apple Authorized Reseller.

Bought AppleTV 4k yesterday to enjoy the 1 free year, installed and created a new apple-ID for it but decided to use my older id i have for my iphone (wanted seperate) but don't care anymore, i think by loggin in to 2 apple-id's i messed up because im not getting the 1 year offer, any tips?
