Apple Music

My 17-year-old daughter and I are Family Sharing. She started her subscription to Apple Music on her Apple ID a couple of years ago with her iTunes gift card, but it switched over to my credit card when her gift card balance was empty. I’m now wondering if I can get the subscription switched over to my Apple ID (without her losing anything), so that we both can enjoy the music!

Family sharing should still allow you to both enjoy music while keeping separate Apple IDs.

In many ways it is desirable if you both have separate accounts so that you both do not share the same music library and can each customize your music library the way you want. My family of four also uses family sharing and we each enjoy our own music - I certainly would not want the music my kids and wife listen to in my music library nor would I want them to accidentally delete content from my music library.
