both ipad and iphone update apps only extremely slowly. this is new, i guess after updating to ios 13.1.
my wifi network is ok speedwise, so this is fine. if i update via 4g, it is fast too, so it is not on apple's end.
any ideas?

changing the DNS server in the router did the trick. but still no idea why things got slow after ios update. anyway, works now.

updating via a vpn over wifi works fine too.
