PANASONIC CAMCORDER VIDEO TRANSFER TO MY MAC BOOK PRO

I GOT A PANASONIC NOT COMPATIBLE WITH MAC TO TRANFER MY VIDEO, SO I PLUG IN MY SD CARD TO MY COMPUTER, THEN DOWN LOAD IT TO I MOVIE THEN MAKE AN XML FILE TO EXPORT IT TO FINAL CUT PRO THEN IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO IMPORT BECAUSE I DON´T KNOW WHAT SETTINGS I SHOULD HAVE TO IMPORT IT AND THEN HOW TO BURN IT TO A DVD TO SEE IT ON MY DVD PLAYER........

Please turn off your CAPS LOCK.

Hard to read and viewed as yelling.

Your camcorder is AVCHD standard complaint, and should work with log and transfer with FCP v. 6.0 or later on an Intel Mac.

Otherwise convert the mts files with ClipWrap2.

If the file structure from the camcorder is anything like that of the Panasonic HDC-TM700, the easiest way actually is to just hook the camcorder up to the Mac using the USB cable. This way FCP will log and transfer the files direct without any conversion having to take place.

The conversion does occur with log and transfer.

FCP converts to a variant of pro res or to AIC, depending on what the user elects.

Also, the TM700 will not work with L/T if the card or cam includes any 1080/60p footage, even if mixed with AVCHD standard complaint 60i captures.
