Are you using the pro 2 or pro 1? This option doesn't appear to exist for me anymore.

Got my airpods pro 2 replaced after visiting service centre, I checked what was the issue they simply said its hardware faulty. But the issue is still the same

I just but one pair and I’m having the same issue with the mic. Not even a good transparency mode.

Got a refund, wasn't prepared to risk the replacements considering the comments in this thread and no reason to believe it would help.

Try moving the microphone port away from your earlobes, i.e. rotate upward. Makes a big difference since the Pro has a shorter stem than the regular Airpods.

They work fine for work calls. I've been using them for wfh for several years now. The issue is when out in the street, when noise reduction kicks in. Then people have trouble hearing me.
