Catalina iOS 10.15.1 : WiFi Problems

Hello all!

After updating my Macbook Pro to the lates Catalina iOS, the WiFi keeps disconnecting all the time. Suddenly a webpage stops loading and says "No internet connection".

The problem made it hard to download updates since the internet-connection dissapears.

The only solution is to turn the WiFi on and off on the Macbook.

This is not a problem on other things as iPads, TV, Xbox or phones, only my Macbook.

Anybody else experiencing this issue?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

It is possible that other WiFi access points in the area are jamming yours. This is frequently intermittent because the units aren't sending at the same time. The differences in transmit and receive power between devices could explain why it works on some and not others. Try looking at the App Store and enter wifi scanner in the search field. If you can find a channel that is relatively unused, the admin panel for the WiFi router will allow you to change the channel used by your router. It may also be necessary to move the device. Normally, you would want to move it closer, but sometimes a room can have dead spots due to obstructions between the device and router. So try different spots in the room.

I saw a YouTube video that suggested using the Lease Renewal under the TCP/IP Settings as well as changes to the Energy Saver. I am fully updated using Catalina10.15.2 and the issue just happened I walked away from computer for a few minutes, come back WiFi is disconnected. I am the only one connected to my WiFi. The only devices attached are my iPhone and my MacBook Pro. The issue is still happening.

In my case, I don't believe this is the problem.

My macbook pro sits next to my mac mini. Macbook Pro is on 10.14.6, Mojave. Mac Mini is on 10.15.1, Catalina. I use my macbook all day long and wifi connection never drops.

In the evening, while using my mac mini (or when not in use), the wifi connection will drop without notice. I do have Wifi Signal installed on both. I don't see any indication of weak signal strength or interference when the connection drops.

This is driving me crazy!! I have Catalina 10.15.2 Macbook Pro and it is CONSTANTLY disconnecting from wifi!! Makes playing games very frustrating! I usually wind up connecting it to my iPhone vs. wifi! I didn't know what was wrong originally so I called Verizon and they wound up replacing my router. That didn't work either, so then I found all the complaints online! I've done several youtube videos changing the TCP/IP and Energy Settings, etc. Still didn't work. PLEASE Apple respond fix this problem ASAP!!!
