Sharring an album in Photos
Can anyone help please? In Photos, how do I share a folder that contains several individual albums? I know how to share an album, but can't see any way to share a folder! Thank you

You can create shared albums, but sharing a folder of albums is not supported in Phots. You will have to create a shared album for each album in the folder you want to share.
There is one problem with shared albums. The size of the photos will be reduced to at most 2048 pixels at the longest edge. The quality will be less than in your Photos Library and the titles and other metadata will be missing.
If you want to share the photos in the full quality and preserve the titles and location information, I would simply export the photos from each album to a folder on your Mac, then copy them to a thumbs drive and give the thumbs drive to your partner.

On a side note: In future, after the Catalina upgrade, you will be able to share folders with photos directly on iCloud Drive. This is described here: macOS Catalina - Features - Apple
iCloud Drive folder sharing*
You can now share folders with a private link. Anyone who has access can see the folder in iCloud Drive, add new files, and get the latest versions of files.
The footnote * says "* Coming this spring."
This will make it much easier to use iCloud Drive to share documents and data.
What do you mean by share? Are you referring to Shared Albums in the share menu?
If that's what you're referring to you'll have to create a new album of the photos in the two albums and share it as a single album.
Thank you - I'l try that. I simply want to share a number of photo albums (photos from several holidays grouped by year) in one go with my partner (who has a separate iCloud account). Thanks again for replying
Be aware that the order that photos are displayed in a Shared Album is the order in which they were added. So if they show in a specific order is important they may have to be added one by one in the order you want.
Thank you Ieonie. It's helpful to know for certain that Photos doesn't support shared folders of albums. And noted about the benefits of using a thumb drive. I will try that. Thank you
Fantastic! I'll wait until then I think. Thank you
Thank you
