Chris an error message kept appearing. I did not scrape clearly all the numbers. I mistaken the last letter for a symbol. My grandson recognized and we corrected the problem.

What happens when you try? You need to explain any error you see on the screen. Check these support documents, If you can't redeem your App Store & iTunes Gift Card, Apple Music Gift Card, or content code - Apple Support or this, Redeem App Store & iTunes Gift Cards and content codes - Apple Support
