AirPlay won’t work with Apple TV+

I’m trying to watch “Morning Show” on Apple TV+, it won’t work, msg says “There’s a problem loading this content” HBO works, Morning Show doesn’t. Same results with iPad, iPad Pro, and iPhone X

Devices you can use with the Apple TV app and Apple TV+ - Apple Support

It says Apple TV (3rd generation or later).

Other posts on this forum detail about issues with AirPlay of Apple TV+ content to an Apple TV (2nd generation) model. So that model could indeed be unsupported for this service.

I have the same issue. I'm able to use airplay to watch See and For all Mankind... but not the Morning Show. I have tried streaming from iPhone X and 11 and iPad Pro, all running ios13.

I'm using an older Apple TV. Do I need a specific version of Apple TV/tvos to be compatible with Apple TV+? If so... wtf?

I have same issue. Have experimented w many options including mirroring vs AirPlay. Can get the preview to play, but not the show. Get same error message as other users have reported. This one’s not on us Apple!
