When i save an imessage audio file, where does it go? They used to be visible in the voice memo app, then in the contact files under the attachments tab, but that tab no longer exists after the last ios upgrade. You can still tap and save audio messages, so how can you access them?

There is an alternate way to save messages. You tap the audio file, and a pop-up menu gives you the option to save the message. My question is where are these saved files now that they are no longer in either voice memos or the now-obsolete attachments tab.

To play an audio message, tap the message. To save an audio message, tap Keep underneath the message.
The Messages app deletes audio messages after 2 minutes. To keep your audio messages longer, go to Settings > Messages. Scroll down and tap Expire under Audio Messages, then select After 2 Minutes or Never.
Not sure if anyone posted this workaround, but after I held down to save, I clicked on “copy” and then pasted into a new note.
I called support but no answer from tech support yet. It appears this is unresolved for the time being.
I'm looking for this answer too. I keep pressing save but can't figure out where it all goes.
Please advise once this is resolved.
Workaround, well works! Thanks. This is definitely a bug. Look for a fix in the next iOS update.

Where are iMessage audio files saved?
