my iPad Air 3 continuously asks for my password to enable Touch ID
iPad Air, iOS 13
I am so very sorry. When I submitted my problem, I used the word password. I meant to say passcode. Upon deleting my fingerprint and redoing it, I can now unlock my iPad Air 3 with Touch ID. I do thank you so much for your support and, also, doing it in a very fast timeframe. That was extremely impressive. Once again, I am sincerely sorry for my mistake.
Hello,
Every time iPad restarts it requires your password to enable Touch ID.
Hello,
Whenever iPad is powered off it resets Touch ID which would then require you to type in your passcode or Apple ID passcode in order to use Touch ID again.
So sorry, but I still don’t understand. iPad Air 3 is still new to me. Have had it approximately month and a half. It just recently (about 2weeks ago) started requesting password. Before that, all I had to do was use Touch ID. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch.
I forgot to mention that your response to my question was correct. Thanks again.
You are very welcome! I am happy to hear all is working as expected. If you have any further questions feel free to reach back out to me and I’ll do my best to try and help!
Thanks for your reply. I know who to go to in the future!!!
