undo not available in final cut pro

I have been working on a recovered version of a fcp library. However I no longer have the command-z undo option after making changes. How to get it back?

I would also like to save this recovered library under a unique name, but do not see save as options... is the only save that occurs is upon closing library?

On a Macbook Pro (born 2017) in PAGES application: How many times can I use the Undo Command to get back text that was accidentally deleted? In a PAGES document, I accidentally deleted text I needed to keep that is nowhere else in my document, after which I had made many changes to a list I keep which includes screenshots, numbers and dates, plus having to tell the document to keep the images on the same page with their text, so the images do not go sliding around while I'm typing or adding other images, dates, etc. I cannot find this info anywhere, but it must be available if there is a FINITE number of times the "UNDO" command, which is also Command-Z.

the undo function on iMovie not working I am having the same issue but I am not following your instructions on how to correct this [Re-Titled by Moderator]

well fcp crashed, and the reason was something to the effect of undo having too many instances in various nests... probably because a couple projects open at same time? In any event, restarted, and undo is back to normal.
