I have a MacBook Pro early 2015 and is update to the latest OS, I also have iPad Pro 2017 updated with iPad OS, as I notice I cannot use Sidecar to mirror my MacBook Pro on iPad or use iPad as second screen. the Apple website states that my MacBook does not support this feature.. any one know how to get this working? or is there any update which will get this feature working?
If the specifications do not support it then the feature is not supported. There typically is no "workaround" otherwise I'd be running Catalina on my 2008 iMac and iOS13 on my iPhone 4S.

Limnos.. Thank you for your reply, I understand that if the hardware is old it will not support the newest software, however Apple is known to have provided software support to most of the models in the past and have provided them with latest updates... However there are various website and people all over the world have installed patches and are running Sidecar successfully on their older Macs, My only objective of asking question is there is any further information on will Apple release an update which will get sidecar working or not? or how successful is the patch ?
